WELL...... I applied to be a vendor at the Davis Flea Market in Somerville,  and hopefully I will hear back soon!! I have a lot of pieces started, and I will need to get them finished for the market on Sunday!  I am very excited, and I hope to get the word out there that Renewed Reloved is open and ready for business! whoop!

Well, this weekend I managed to get a coat of paint on the hutch and the liquor cabinet.  The paint on the hutch is a very very soft peach, I think I am going to crackle over it with an off white, give it a real farm house look.  I used high gloss black on the liquor cabinet, and it came out GORGEOUS, I am waiting for the paint to REALLLLLLYY dry before I do some detailing, but I think it's going to be a top seller!  Meanwhile... I am burning 4,000 calories stripping and scrapping off the apocalypse scene of aliens blowing up planet Earth on the desk... man they used super paint!!  Hopefully I will have 4 pieces completed this weekend!  Thanks of tuning in :)

Well, today was a bust on the hunting front.... nothing was speaking to me and saying "please take me home and savveeee mee!" However, I did sell 2 pieces today!! I really hope that they enjoy the new additions to their homes!! I have some great furniture downstairs that I am going to start this weekend, can't wait!!!  Maybe tomorrow I'll do some yard sale searching..... hmm.... 

I am on the lookout today for some really cool new pieces!!!!  If anyone is looking for something specific, and would like me to search for it, let me know OR if you see a poor piece of furniture stranded on the side of the road, let me know that too!  The sun has come out, and it has turned into a beautiful day!  Let the hunt begin!

This piece is a custom order piece.  Clearly it needed some serious luvin'.  After loads of stripping and sanding, I have painted it a really deep terra cotta color, and have applied a crackle/weathered layer.... now I am waiting for it to finish drying so i can apply the top coat.  I bought some pretty cool hardware for the piece which I think will match the room's decor.  The chest is used as a coffee table, and I certainly hope it will be a conversation piece for the family!
